Watercooler Wednesday: Summer Explorations

Today I’m going to tell you about my love of exploration. I’m an adventurer at heart and escape in the stories I write, trips I take to various places around the world and as well as one of my most favorite exploration places. My favorite explorations are not too far off places (although I do do that too sometimes) it’s just right around my neighborhood and my own city. I started doing these explorations well so long ago I don’t remember when I started. I do remember that I did my first exploration the first time because I had some time left after I made a trip and as I was home I realized there was so much to see and usually I am so busy working or doing something I didn’t take time to see my own city or neighborhood. So I did it. I explore these treasure troves of fun within my own neighborhood and city. Until I did I didn’t know what I was missing. There are so many sights in my own neighborhood in walking distance I can explore as well as do one of my favorite things — people watch and weave stories about the people I see. 🙂 My exploration is now a regular thing I do and it’s fun exploring my neighborhood and city.

With summer here I have plans to do some exploring and will be taking my nephew who is visiting me from college with me. Shhhh…he doesn’t know yet. It’ll be fun seeing what else I can find in my neighborhood and city.

Maybe you can also explore around your own neighborhood and city with your family and/or friends and have your own adventures. If you do be sure to let me know on facebook, my blog or contact me. 🙂

Enjoy your exploring!
