Better than Sex November: Deacon & Better than Sex Cake

First, I’d like to welcome everyone to November’s reader event. I realize with Thanksgiving being right around the corner, I do realize many peeps are busy with prepping for the holiday madness, but I thought it would be a fun to exchange some delicious recipes with our readers, and the sexy men we’d love to serve them to.   Of course, I want to make sure you get more than just recipes and a chance to drool over our sexy book heroes. There’s a grand prize basket that  we will be giving away at the end of the month.   The deets on this sweet basket are below along with how you can enter. With that being said, pull up a chair, grab a bib as I welcome the sexy Deacon to NGWN and his favorite desert in the world –  Better Than Sex Cake!

Hero to Tempt: Deacon Willis (an edgy Dom who doesn’t thinks he can’t have his cake and eat it too)

Book: Safeword Interrupted

The love of his Life: Bethany Adams (his no nonsense manager and submissive)

Best Qualities:  His unquechable need for Bethany, followed closely by his loyalty to what family he has.

Worst Qualities: Thinking he’s always right, not listening to Bethany, and sneaking large chunks of dessert before supper.

Bethany’s Philosphy about him:  He might be the high and mighty master in the bedroom but outside it she’ll kick his ass if he treats her like anything but a lady.  (Her words, folks not mine…swear!)

Bethany’s Reason to Spoil him: Because despite the fact he knocked her up and put her through hell, her Master loves her enough to face his fears to keep her and their unborn child at his side.

His Reward:

Better Than Sex Cake

1 package of dark chocolate cake mix

11/3 cup of water

1/2 cup of oil

3 eggs

1- 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk

1- 12 oz jar of carmal or butterscotch sundae topping

8 oz of whipped cream (I like using Dream Whip)

2 Heath candy bars chopped up

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare cake as directed on box.
  3. Immediately after getting out of the oven poke holes in the cake with a fork or the end of a spoon and slowly pour the caramel and condensed milk over the cake; letting it all soak up.
  4. Let cake cool completely (Bethany prefers to refridgerate it overnight – if Deacon will stay out of it.)
  5. Top with cool whip and crushd Heath bars.
  6. Serve now or let chill a while in the refrigerator.
  7. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.

The totally awesome deets on our November Prize Basket!
